July 15, 2009:  iX Media in-dispenser display helps educate consumers about Refuel RE85 ethanol biofuel

Dresser Wayne (www.DresserWayne.com), a global innovator of fuel dispensers and technologies, helps Finnish energy company St1 (www.St1.eu) to bring new alternative fuels to market.  St1 leverages the Global Ovation® iX™ dispenser's alternative fuel compatibility and state-of-the-art technology, including stage 2 vapour recovery and highly accurate Xflo™ fuel meters.  St1 distributes its new Refuel RE85 ethanol biofuel at five eco-conscious wind and solar-powered retail fuel sites in the greater Helsinki area and plans to soon expand to other locations in Finland.  Two of the sites are partly wind and solar-powered, while three are already fully powered by on-site energy production and additional industrial wind power.

The Global Ovation iX dispenser includes many elements that support the customer service objectives.  The iX Technology Platform, with the iX Media 10.4 inch, in-dispenser color digital screen, enables St1 to offer educational videos about St1 Refuel RE85 ethanol and the company's eco-friendly mission and philosophy during the fueling experience.  In addition to environmental videos, the platform offers the option of promotional campaigns to drive sales of other St1 offerings and provides St1 with the revenue-generating option of selling merchandising space to other businesses.  The Global Ovation iX dispenser features the Xflo fuel meter, available in an eco-fuel compatible design.  The Xflo meter significantly reduces meter drift and shows benchmark accuracy through its advanced axial dual spindle technology.  Plus, this accuracy helps ensure precisely-blended alternative fuels.
